Program Director
Heather Dillon is the new Program Director at County North Children’s Center.  Heather has her Masters in Education, and is certified to teach Special Education from birth to six.  Heather also teaches our UPK program with the Liverpool Central School District.

Teachers:
CNCC has over 30 qualified, caring staff working with the children.  The Head Teachers have degrees ranging from Child Development Associates, Associate’s Degrees in Early Childhood Education to Bachelor’s Degrees in related fields.  Staff Development is an integral part of CNCC’s program.  Staff attend workshops offered by our local resource and referral agency, Child Care Solutions.  The teachers have been involved in pilot Early Literacy Programs, on-line courses and college credit classes in early childhood education.  All of County North staff are regularly trained in First-Aid and CPR, and many have Medication Administration Training.  Besides regular staff development, teachers are cleared through the NYS Central Register of Child Abuse and Maltreatment and fingerprinted with the NYS Department of Criminal Youth Justice, and references are checked.
CNCC staff are excited to work with Child Care Solutions to obtain their CDA’s (Child Development Associates).  County North was the first child care center in this area to offer CDA classes to its staff during work hours.  The program was successful, with many staff earning their CDAs in 2008, and more enrolled in the course now.
